Good Morning

Okay I had an urge to draw Maya and Riza... she just woke up from a nap :3

Their relationship is one of our favorites, it's funny because I usually like opposite gender children to be closer to their opposite gender parent, but this just feels right to have Maya be closer to Riza (not that she isn't close to Roy, because she obviously is very close to him too)

But anyways Roy has hurt Riza a lot, he even says at one point how he's hurt her again, I would say actually most pain Riza's gone through is Roy's fault, but Riza uses it to make herself and her bond with Roy stronger, I'd go more into detail about it but actually if you want to see more in detail about it you can see this thing me and my friend wrote XD: [link]

BUT ANYWAYS that being said, I think it would just be very meaningful for Riza to have this super close bond with their child, that she gets so much happiness from her. I think it would make Roy feel very satisfied and happy himself to know that he was able to give her this child and that he was able to make her so incredibly happy after everything he's done to her over the years (of course Riza would say Roy already makes her happy :3 )

I think I've already talked about how Maya had separation anxiety for a while with Riza, she was born premature and got sick and needed a lot of attention, mostly from Riza since she was on leave for a little while after the birth and Roy had to go back to work.

I'll probably go more into detail about Riza and Maya's relationship when I draw them at various ages on Maya's part, I wanna draw some to talk about her relationship with Roy too since it's obviously also important.



But yeah, just a little picture to show why Maya's such a mama's girl ~
